-
In
1999, Brimstone had an epiphany, and came up with an ingenious idea to create the school he had always wanted without a large budget, and put all his plans into effect (**)...
**Brimstone founded "Critical Mass Pro Wrestling Corp." in early 2000 in
Hicksville, New York within a newly sprouted Martial Arts Academy. The idea to
create a fully functional professional wrestling school had been an idea of his
since his days at the LIWF. Seeing that there was a lot of talent needing to be
primed here, with no real facility close by, Brimstone recruited his long time
friends Mayhem, and Chris Hostile and Critical Mass Pro Wrestling was born.
Growth at a rapid rate quickly pushed CMPW out of the academy, and into their
brand new mini arena! Brimstone, and Mayhem's training routine had been
complemented many times over by various independent and larger name workers from
all over the world. Their goal was to continue guiding hungry new talent in the
best form possible in a safe and fun environment. Brimstone believed that
everyone had a right to fulfill their dreams no matter what shape, size, ethnic
background, or sex…Brimstone helped all his students obtain their goals and
more. Between Mayhem and Brimstone’s experience, they blended the best aspects
of all styles, (Lucha Libre, American, Japanese, Submission, and Olympic) and
molding them into an intense training regime, creating “Competent, Well-Rounded
Athletes.” Brimstone took pride in his “Acting 101” classes in which he
assisted his students in public speaking, cutting interviews, getting into
character, frame of mind, entrances etc…
